OLYMPIC FC WELCOMES SCOTT GUYETT AS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Olympic FC is proud to announce the appointment of its new Technical Director, Scott Guyett.
Scott was born in London but grew up here in Brisbane. He played for Brisbane Lions and Brisbane City during his youth years before moving back to the UK to pursue a career in professional football.
Scott had a 12 year professional playing career making over 350 appearances for the likes of AFC Bournemouth, Yeovil Town and Oxford United. After retiring from playing Scott moved to Premier League club Crystal Palace FC as Head of Sport Science and Strength & Conditioning.
During a very successful period he worked alongside a number of experienced and well respected managers such as Roy Hodgson, Patrick Vieira, Alan Pardew and Tony Pulis as well as working alongside a number of high profile players including former Socceroo captain Mile Jedinak. Scott returned to Brisbane almost 2 years ago to become Assistant Coach of Brisbane Roar before leaving to join Olympic FC.
Scott holds a UEFA Pro Licence and a Masters degree in Sporting Directorship
