Olympic FC have locked in their final three signings to complete their squad ahead of this weekend’s 2022 NPL Queensland kick off.
Exciting youngsters: Jack Meredith, Danilo Kovacevic and Jayden Tower have all inked deals with the club after impressing elsewhere in the NPL last season.
Fullback, Meredith arrives from Brisbane Strikers where he was a regular in 2021 and is best known for his engine, pace and ability in one-on-one situations both with and without the ball.
Kovacevic, an attacking midfielder quickly developing a reputation for his technical ability and quality in tight areas signs for Olympic after playing for Brisbane Roar’s U23’s last season.
The midfielder, who played some of his junior football at Olympic was also part of the Brisbane Strikers team that reached the FFA Cup Semi Finals in 2019.
Tower arrives at Olympic after playing for Magpies Crusaders United last season, he caught the eye with an impressive display between the sticks when the two sides faced each other at Goodwin Park at the back end of the 2021 campaign.
The trio of promising youngsters take the total of new signings at Goodwin Park ahead of the 2022 NPL Queensland to seven, joining: Zac Kierpal, Keegan Jelacic, Takeru Okada and Taira Yoshimura as new arrivals at the club.
Olympic kick off their 2022 NPL Queensland campaign at home against Eastern Suburbs on Sunday evening (6pm KO).
