Olympic kick off their 2022 Australia Cup campaign at Goodwin Park against Albany Creek Excelsior Tuesday night (7:30pm KO).
Preliminary Round 4 action which takes place over two match days this week, pits Olympic against FQPL2 opposition for the first time.
Olympic come into Tuesday’s clash having won all three of their NPL matches this season and sit level at the top of the league with Gold Coast Knights.
In their most recent outing Olympic defeated Moreton Bay 3-2 on Saturday night at Wolter Park which doubles as Albany Creek’s home ground.
ACE, who come into Tuesday’s match off the back of a 5-2 win over Virginia United on Friday night sit level with Surfers Paradise Apollo at the top of the FQPL2 standings with nine points from their three matches so far.
Albany Creek booked their spot in Preliminary Round 4 with a 3-2 win over FQPL2 rivals Magic United in the last round.
The winner of Tuesday’s clash will face the winner of Redcliffe Dolphins and Capalaba FC in Preliminary Round 5.
