Olympic Football Club has bolstered its midfield stocks with the addition of Inocent Michael ahead of the 2022 NPL Queensland Women’s season.
The 24-year-old arrives at Olympic after most recently playing in the Tasmanian Women’s Super League with Olympia Warriors.
Michael also has extensive experience representing Tasmania, having played for her state at Senior, NTC and junior levels.
“I decided to join Olympic for the 2022 season to challenge myself as a player in a new environment, different league and a high level of playing standard,” Michael said.
“The professionalism at the club has been amazing everyone that I’ve met here has been so welcoming and that was what made me sign for Olympic.
“My aim for the season is to grow into the team, understand how my teammates play and of course win some silverware in the process.”
Michael joins Natalie Tathem, Brittney Lacek, Lua Suero, Faith Stephenson, Christina Amajouyi, and Kristi New as the seventh confirmed new arrival in the Olympic squad ahead of the 2022 NPL Queensland season.
Olympic kick off the new NPL Queensland Women’s season away against Lions FC at Lions Stadium on Friday night (8:15pm KO).
