STATEMENT – JIM GELAGOTIS
To all Players, Parents, Coaches and Staff,
On Saturday 17 August 2019, Mr Jim Gelagotis tendered his resignation as Olympic FC Technical Director – a position he has held since March 2017.
Jimmy, as he is fondly known at Goodwin Park, will be finishing his work at Olympic today, Friday 23 August 2019.
The Executive and the General Committee wishes to thank Jimmy for all his efforts and contributions to Olympic FC, and wish Jimmy all the very best in his future endeavours.
The Executive will immediately commence a thorough recruitment process to find a suitable replacement as the Technical Director of our club.
In the meantime, our Football Department will be charged with overseeing the remaining few weeks of the 2019 season.
Questions regarding trials and planning for the coming 2020 season will be communicated to the entire club via email and our Facebook page shortly.
