Olympic Football Club have bolstered their defensive stocks with the addition of Chloe Tory ahead of the 2021 NPL Queensland Women’s season.

The 27-year-old arrives at the Olympic from reigning BWPL Champions, Ipswich City, where a stellar campaign saw her selected in the competitions Team of the Season.

Tory joins Emma Barnes, Nadine Keast, Kate Morton & Sophie Weatherby as the fifth player to make the move to Olympic from the 2020 BWPL winners.

Prior to her time at the Bulls, the defender played for Annerley where she won a BWPL Grand Final, Premiership double in 2018 as well as UQFC.

Tory said she couldn’t wait to play her part for an ambitious Olympic side in their NPLW return.

“Olympic are well known for their strong community base and passion for women’s football,” Tory said.

“I’m looking for a club that I can support as much as it can support me, both Olympic and Danny’s approach aligns with my goals for the 2021 season.

“I want to push my limits, see what I can do in a fresh team and quality league and we can provide the consistency in our games to push even the big teams around.”

Tory is Olympic’s twelfth confirmed signing ahead of the 2021 season return as Danny Byrne’s squad begins to take shape.

Pre-season training has commenced for Olympic’s women ahead of their NPLW return in early March.
