Olympic Football Club are pleased to confirm the addition of Willow Liukaina ahead of the 2021 NPL Queensland Women’s season.

The 22-year-old, centre back signs for Olympic after most recently spending two years in the US College system, where she played for Harris Stowe State University and captained the side in her Sophomore year.

Prior to her time in the United States, Liukaina played locally with Queensland’s best youngsters in the Brisbane Roar/ QAS side.

The defender said she couldn’t wait to get going in red and white.

“I’m looking forward to getting back into football with a great bunch of girls in the squad and a supportive coaching team,” Liukaina said.

“I’m sure it will be an enjoyable season and we’ll aim to win as many games as we can.”

Liukaina is Olympic’s thirteenth confirmed signing as the squad continues to shape up ahead of the 2021 season.

Pre-season training has commenced for Olympic’s women ahead of their NPLW return in early March.
