Olympic FC has bolstered it’s attacking stocks with the addition of experienced W-League forward, Rosie Sutton.
The 31-year-old attacker adds further potency and guile to Olympic’s front line with 23 goals to her name across seven W-League seasons.
Sutton arrives at Olympic from Brisbane Roar but has also plied her trade for Melbourne Victory, Western Sydney Wanderers, Perth Glory and Adelaide United in the top flight.
The forward also has European experience, having played a season for Icelandic club ÍBV-íþróttafélag in 2013.
Sutton is no stranger to the NPL Queensland Women’s competition having played for Souths United and Eastern Suburbs, netting 13 times in 15 appearances for the latter in 2020.
Sutton joins Allira Toby & Angela Beard as the third W-League player to sign on in red and white for Olympic’s NPL Queensland Women’s return.
The forward will wear the number 39 jersey and is in contention to make her debut for the club away against Logan Lightning at Cornubia Park on Saturday night (6:30pm KO).
