Andy Garside has been appointed as the new Junior Technical Director at Olympic FC.
He is currently an Experienced Senior Teacher, Football Excellence Coach and Met East Head Coach at Marsden SHS, with a Master in Education and the FA B Licence.
He has been the U12 SAP Head Coach at Olympic FC for the last two seasons and is also a parent at the club, believing in the player development philosophy and the club values of passion and unity through football.
He brings a wealth of previous experience, as an Assistant Principal and Director of Sport at Ernest Bevin College in London, one of the UK’s Top 10 Sport Specialist schools, and thirteen years working in Premier League, Championship and non-league clubs, with the FA Advanced Youth Award, including leading a Centre of Excellence for Fulham FC.
Andy is extremely proud to accept the Junior Technical Director role and has the knowledge and passion to deliver quality football outcomes through evidence based best practice that promotes outstanding holistic player and coach development.
