MATCH WRAP

Olympic had to settle for a share of the points, playing out 0-0 draw against Gold Coast United at Coplicks Family Sports Park on Tuesday night.

Despite having the majority of possession Olympic were unable to break the deadlock in a match of few chances.

Jack Glover looked the most likely for the visitors, twice coming close with headers from set pieces while Shannon Brady, who was lively down the left throughout the 90 minutes also threatened on a number of occasions.

At the other end, Lachlan Hunter was rarely troubled as Olympic came away with their eighth clean sheet from 16 outings this season.

Youngster, Roshan Neupane, who’s scored six times for Olympic’s U23’s this season made his first team debut off the bench in the 84th minute.

Tuesday’s result leaves Olympic in third place on the NPL Queensland ladder with 32 points, with a game in hand on Gold Coast Knights in fourth.
