Karalouka returns to Olympic

Olympic Football Club are excited to confirm Teani Karalouka has returned to the club for the 2021 NPLW season.

The 20-year-old midfielder, spent eleven years at Olympic between 2007 & 2017, working her way through the junior ranks into the first team.

Karalouka was part of the Olympic side that competed in the 2016 NPLW Grand Final and played for the club in their last season in the competition in 2017.

Karalouka then went on spend the 2018 & 2019 seasons at Souths United before playing for Capalaba in 2020.

Karalouka made 18 appearances for the Bulldogs, who finished in third position on the NPLW ladder in 2020.

The former Australian U19 Schoolgirls representative said she was delighted to be back playing in red and white.

“It’s great to be back home playing in the league that the club deserves to be in,” Karalouka said.

“We’ve got a great coach and squad of not only good players but good people who are all here for the right reasons.

“We want to do well as a team for our first season back in the NPL and hopefully win some silverware.”

Karalouka joins Liz Doherty as the club’s second confirmed NPLW signing ahead of the 2021 season.
