Olympic Football Club are excited to announce Goalkeeper, Lachlan Hunter has re-signed with the Club for the 2021 NPL Queensland season.

The 19-year-old shot stopper is back for a second season between the sticks at Goodwin Park, following an impressive first campaign that included 11 clean sheets in 25 appearances.

Hunter’s strong performances in 2020 earned him selection in the NPL Queensland All Stars alongside seven of his Olympic team-mates.

The former Young Roar custodian says his side are hungry for success in 2021.

“Olympic is like a second family to me, I love being around the boys and really look up to some of the older ones. They’re some of the best people I’ve played with,” Hunter said.

“I plan to be the best goalkeeper in the league this season and concede the least goals, and of course we’re here to win the league this season.”

Pre-season has commenced for Olympic ahead of the 2021 NPL Queensland season, with Hunter and his teammates already hard at work on the training track.

Stay tuned as we continue to unveil our squad for the season ahead over the coming days.
