Olympic FC’s Female Football Subcommittee would like to thank all 85 women and girls who answered our call for EOIs to play with the club next year, pending receipt of a NPLW license.
Unfortunately, Football Queensland have decided to delay handing out any extra licenses, so we will not be fielding NPLW teams in 2020.
We remain dedicated to promoting female football, and will continue with our plans to develop female football players, coaches, referees and volunteers.
We will have plenty of teams for girls to play in, so we will be in touch with each of our respondents regarding options.
