Olympic Football Club are excited to announce the signing of Grace Chalmers ahead of the 2021 NPLW Queensland season.
Chalmers, who has experience playing in both the backline and midfield arrives at Olympic via Mitchelton where she played in both the 2018 & 2020 seasons.
The 22-year-old’s time at Mitchelton bookended a season at Moreton Bay, where Chalmers was part of the side that made the 2019 NPLW Queensland Grand Final.
Chalmers has also plied her trade at NPLW heavy-weights, The Gap as well as three seasons Brisbane Roar’s NTC sides.
Chalmers is Olympic’s tenth confirmed signing ahead of the 2021 NPLW season as Danny Byrne’s squad begins to take shape.
Chalmers said her side weren’t there to simply make up the numbers in their first season back in the league.
“I’m looking forward to being part of a competitive environment with likeminded team members with the same mentality as me,” Chalmers said.
“We’re in it to win this season.”
Olympic will begin their pre-season in early January ahead of the expected NPLW kick off in March.
